Helping students discover a Faith that's real
"The advice I've gotten from my youth leaders, and then just like the messages I've recevied and learned is what I will be taking away with me from 608."
- Grace (12th Grader)
"Leaders in 608 give me a sense of community and a person to connect with. They genuinely take the time to get to know us for us and they help support us and new people and make it just genuinely more comfortable being at 608."
- Addison (10th Grader)
"I've made some of my closest freinds and everyone is welcoming."
- Kennedy R. (10th Grader)

Who We Are
At 608, we’re a community where faith is real, fun is required, and everyone belongs.
We’re all about helping students know Jesus, grow together, and live boldly. It’s church — but louder, crazier, and way more like family.

What We Do
High-energy games, relevant teachings, and real conversations in small groups, we build authentic relationships that point to the love of Jesus.

What's Different
We trade surface-level vibes for honest convos and faith that actually means something. With wild fun, real community, and Jesus at the center, you don’t have to perform to belong — you already do.
Whether you’ve grown up in church or are just curious about faith, there’s a place for you here!

Does our family need to attend Heartland Church in order for our son or daughter to attend this youth group?
No, and that's okay! We have a number of students within our High School and Middle School Ministries who attend other churches in the area or do not attend church at all.
Here at 608 any High School students are welcome to attend. We believe in creating a space for all students to not only hear the word of God, but create a space for them to encounter Jesus through one another, leaders, experiences, teachings and small groups.
We would love to see your student join us on Wednesday Nights from 7-8:30 pm.

My son or daugther is brand new to youth group. Do I need to pre-register them in order to attend?
Techinally, no. However, it is helpful to know ahead of time when a student will be joining us for a first time, so our small group leaders can be aware and can look out for them when they arrive.
Ways to notify us of your students arrival is by filling out the 608 Connect Card and the New Student information Card. The 608 connect card is used as a form of communication to send monthly emails, updates, etc. about All Things 608. As for the New Student Information Card, by filling out the information, we will have access to your students emergency contact.
You are more than welcome to email Jake Fry (jake@heartlandsunprairie.com) and Jordyn Doll (jordyn@heartlandsunprairie.com) as well. We are always here to assist you with anything you need!

Does my son or daughter need to bring anything to youth group?
Just a willingness to meet new people and anticipation to experience a night full of fun.
However, if your student has their own bible, encourage them to bring it. Many students bring their bibles to highlight/mark-up/use during teachings, as well as, use during small group time.
If they do not have a bible, it does not hinder their experience. We can help in providing bibles too.

What if my student has aged out of Wonderfully Made?
At Heartland we believe that all people are Wonderfully Made in God's Image. Therefore, the Wonderfully Made ministry is designed to meet Kids unique & diverse needs, so that everyone can enjoy full access to the love of Christ!
If you have a student(s) that have already been apart of the Wonderfully Made Ministry, we ask that you still fill out this form. We recognize that when students enter into Wonderfully Made, they are not the same students entering into 608.
Your student or students have gone through hormonal, social and emotional changes, and we want to best support your student(s) and you!
The more information you share, the better we’ll be able to serve and support your child during their time with us in Heartlands 608 Youth Ministry.
This information you provide is essential to their transition from the Wonderfully Made Ministry into the 6th-12th grade 608 Ministry.

608 Experiences Beyond Our Walls
Imagine your student experincing opportunites that go beyond Wednesday nights where they will be able to reach, grow or go. As a ministry we do not want 608 to only be once a week, we want 608 to become part of your students life filled with excitment and anticipation.
God doesn't just move one day during the week, we believe He is constantly moving around and within students and leaders as a vessel for his workings in 608. Therefore, we want to put together opporntiniues for your student(s) to gather and experience all the ways God can show up.
From Summer Camps, Winter and Fall Retreats, Bible Studies, Passion Camp 2026 and more, students are invited to particapte and invite their friends. God is limitless and can use these experiences for his Glory.

The Familiar Stranger | Sunday Study Group
High Schoolers! Join us for The Familiar Stranger, a 6-Week study of the Holy Spirit!
For many followers of Jesus, the Holy Spirit is a "familiar stranger"- a rumored figure we know of, but don't truly know. We hear stories of God's power but struggle to see it in our own lives. This study is an invitation to close that gap.
This group will meet at Jake's home in Deforest. Location details will be sent prior to the first meeting.
