CarePortal is a faith-led non profit organization that has created a technology platform, accessible through the web and an app, that drives action for kids and families in crisis; it connects churches, agencies, businesses, school, and other entities to children and families in their local community who need critical assistance. Heartland has enrolled in this program and are looking for responders from our own church body to sign up to help meet needs of the most vulnerable in real time.

JOIN OUR CHURCH RESPONSE TEAM!

We’ve signed up for CarePortal - Technology that connects us with the critical needs of kids and families right in our backyard! Social workers and eventually schools in our area are ready to send requests out for real time needs that could help these families at a time when it could make a world of difference, and we get to be at the point of care!

At Heartland we care about children and families affected by foster care. That’s why we have enrolled in the CarePortal program - we have a chance to meet the tangible needs of families right in our backyard and make a meaningful connection with them. The first step is to build
a team of responders who will field these requests from local cold serving agencies. Even if we just start with a few people we could start meeting needs right away!
